BDS and its Board of Directors have a wide range of experience across different industries.

The BDS Board is comprised of:

Michael Pratt – Chairman

Michael Pratt brings diverse and unique insight to the BDS Board.

Michael has an extensive career in banking and wealth management throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Most recently, he was CEO of Consumer and SME Banking, North East Asia, with Standard Chartered Bank. He is a former President of the Australian Institute of Banking & Finance and was the Inaugural Joint President of Finsia.

Michael is a non-executive director of Bennelong Group Holdings Pty Ltd and the Bennelong Foundation. He was recently appointed as the inaugural Customer Service Commissioner for the NSW Government and also chairs the Service NSW Board which is the entity responsible for the delivery of core State Government Services to the residents and businesses of NSW.

Michael is the Chairman of BDS.


David Gale – Chief Executive Officer

David has served as the CEO at BDS since February 2000 and runs the day-to-day operations and strategy of the business.

David has 17 years experience in strategic leadership roles covering all aspects of Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Operations Management, Contract Management and Administration.

David spent 4 years with Global Beach (then known as InteResource Ltd). He also spent two years in the UK as a Senior Operations Manager, before becoming Director of Australian Operations.

David is a believer that strong vision drives leadership and strategic direction.

David is responsible for the company’s transition from a custom software developer to a software product vendor.


Michael Kramer – Technical Director

Michael started the BDS business in January 1999.

Michael has over 20 years of commercial experience in software development and senior technology roles including Project Management, Senior Analyst Designer, Technical Lead and Senior Analyst Programmer.

Michael has led development roles that has included projects including Accounting Systems, Payroll Systems, Salary Packaging Systems, Contract Management Applications, CRM, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply Chain, EDI, XBRL based compliance and financial reporting systems.

Michael has worked with clients such as McMillan Shakesphere, Zurich, Dingo Blue, Stratford Internet (Canada), Telstra, Marks & Spencer (London), Bunnings, and Deloitte Australia.


Andrew Revie – Technical Director

Andrew joined BDS as a Director in September 2006.

Andrew has over 15 years commercial experience in development and senior consulting roles. Andrew has broad commercial experience with a range of technologies.

Andrew has worked in senior development roles on projects that include CRM, multi-tiered infrastructure projects, extranets/intranets, web applications, client server, distributed systems and financial systems.

Andrew has also acquired extensive experience with infrastructure architecture, integrating disparate databases, application design and development processes, and has advised on a number of enterprise-scale applications.

Andrew’s role at BDS has grown and he is now responsible for working with QLD based financial strategy clients to improve their backend systems.

Andrew is also reponsible for BuildLogic Product Development and Operations.
